Learn all about the Yamnuska Wolfdog Sanctuary on this introductory tour where guests are taken inside one of the wolfdog enclosures (behind a short barrier) and given a 30-minute presentation on wolfdogs with one of the experienced staff members. This is a great way to photograph one of the packs of wolfdogs from inside their enclosure as well as have access to an expert.
In addition, once the Introductory Tour is over guests will have the opportunity to explore the Sanctuary on a self-guided tour to view the 20+ wolfdogs on site.
Currently, Yamnuska Wolfdog Sanctuary has 25 permanent wolfdogs and a number of wolfdogs available for adoption.
This experience is an educational and fun activity for families with older children or anyone who is interested to know more about wolfdogs and spending time outdoors with these amazing animals.
