This self-guided interpretive walk allows visitors to see the sanctuary at your own pace, and view and photograph the various packs of wolfdogs outside their enclosures.

Educational signs are placed throughout the sanctuary, so visitors are able to learn interesting and key facts about wolves and wolfdogs. This is a great opportunity to learn interesting facts about wolves and wolfdogs and support the sanctuary, which is a non-profit organization that promotes responsible wolfdog ownership by providing a variety of educational programs and tours.
This tour provides a general admission into the Yamnuska Wolfdog Sanctuary and is a great outdoor activity where you can spend time together with your family and friends.

Valid 12 months

Duration: 1 hour.
Minimum age: 6 years old.
Season: available all year round, closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
Schedule: Monday, Thursday-Sunday, tour runs every hour from 10:15 am – 3:30 pm*. *Time may be subject to change.
This tour is wheelchair accessible, however the ground can be rough in areas.
Note, please do not bring your own dogs to the Sanctuary, This is a health and safety issue and greatly upsets the wolfdogs.
Advance booking is strongly recommended.

– There is a limit of 50 people permitted at one time.
