A half day ride that gives you a scenic introduction into the quiet backcountry of Banff National Park.
From snow-capped mountains and sparkling waterfalls to roaring rivers and thick alpine forests, this trip takes you from the bustling Banff town-site to the peaceful wilderness just a few miles away.
See the renowned Rimrock Resort Hotel, and then trek down to the valley and lead your horse across the lively Spray River. Water and a light snack will be provided during a short rest break.
After a well deserved rest, you’ll cross the Spray River once more and ride along the base of iconic Mount Rundle. Here you’ll enjoy stunning views across the valley and of the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel, also known as Canada’s ‘Castle in the Rockies’, before passing by the immaculate fairways of the Fairmont Banff Springs Golf Course.
