Does your team have what it takes to solve this cold case of murder on the streets of Gastown? Become a detective for a day and solve a murder crime.
Your team has passed the rigorous physical exams and you have excellent performance records. Now, we’re here to see if you have what it takes to work homicide in the big city.
Mystery Plot: Who Killed Jimmy?
Jimmy Capello was stabbed, poisoned, and strangled. Who did it? Why? Work your way through Gastown, picking up clues along the way and then report back. Extra points with the Police Chief if you can hand in your police report in under 90 minutes.
The story game will lead you through parts of Vancouver’s Gastown that even locals are surprised to discover. Receive extra points with the Police Chief if you can turn in your police report in under 90 minutes. Solve the murder and earn your detective badge.
The listed price is per 1 player.
Minimum age 12 years. Participants under 19 years old must be accompanied by one adult.
A minimum of 2 players are required to run the game.
Duration: 2 hours.
Season: year-round.
The number of participants is between 2 and 40. The maximum team size is 6 people.
This experience runs daily* between 11:00 am – 6:00 pm. Days may be subject to change and availability.
Meeting Location: Downtown Vancouver (the exact location will be shared upon registration).
Walking distance: 2 – 2.5 km.
Level of Difficulty – Intermediate.
Players are required to sign a liability release form (waiver) before the game start.
This experience operates rain or shine – please dress appropriately for the weather.
How it works:
• Receive the experience voucher and registered for the game with the Experience Provider.
• You will receive instructions on how to activate your Murder Mystery.
• Each team gets a game kit with everything they need to play the game: artifacts (clues), a map, tools, and a game book.
• On location you will meet with a Homicide Detective character, to receive your case briefing along with all the crime-solving tools you’ll need.
• You’ll explore the streets of Gastown and alleyways with your fellow team player, working together to collect clues … and solve the mystery case.
• Report back to the Homicide Detective within the time limit.
