The Classic Kayak Tour

Looking for fun things to do in Vancouver?
Start your day with an outdoor water adventure and experience Vancouver in this Classic Kayak Tour. While the water is at its calmest in the morning, there is little boat traffic so you will have most of the water to yourself.
This tour gives you the opportunity to see Granville Island, False Creek’s floating homes, our marinas, many different bird species, harbor seals, English Bay, Vancouver’s Science World and BC Place stadium.
This 2.5 hours guided tour will start with the safety orientation on the shore, then you will proceed to your kayak and follow your friendly tour guide. Your experienced tour guide will lead you through Vancouver’s most interesting sites while providing a glimpse into the history and updating you on many of the newest and most interesting ventures of a beautiful city.

Minimum age: 10 years old.
Any paddlers 15 years of age and under must be in the front cockpit of a double kayak with someone who is at least 19 years of age in the back.
Duration: 2.5 hours.
Schedule: tour runs from Wednesday to Sunday, departure at 9:00 am.
Season: May-August.
Tour runs rain or shine unless the weather conditions are unsafe.
No experience required, however you must be an experienced kayaker and be able to demonstrate a satisfactory solo rescue if you want to be in a single kayak.
All participants must be able to swim on their own and expect to be in a deep water.
Must sign a waver prior the tour start.
Check-in is 30 minutes prior to the booked tour start time.

Your tour includes:
– A guided morning kayak tour of English Bay, False Creek and Granville Island in Vancouver,
– All necessary equipment,
– Life jacket.
