Your Jasper Peak-Nic Experience will begin with meeting your guide who will take you on your hiking adventure.
Peak-Nic is a 4 km intermediate hiking tour up a stunning peak followed by a hands-on back-country cooking lesson. Once reached the peak you will learn to prepare your own gourmet meal in outdoors using efficient and environmentally friendly outdoors cooking methods.
The best part? You get to eat an amazing meal while enjoying panoramic views.
This is a perfect outdoor experience for families and tourists who are looking for fun things to do in Jasper as well as for couples to celebrate a special occasion.
Minimum age: 10 years.
A minimum of 2 people is required to run the tour. The maximum group size is 6 people.
Season: May-mid October.
Duration: 3.5 hours.
Tour schedule: departing daily at 9 am*. Days and times may be subject to change and availability.
Walking distance: 4 km (2.5 miles) round trip.
Intermediate hiking level.
Meeting point: Old Fort Point parking lot, a 5-minute drive from Jasper townsite.
Tour runs rain or shine but can be rescheduled if the weather condition is deemed unsafe by the Experience Provider.

Participants must wear hiking shoes and weatherproof layers. Dress appropriately for the weather.
