Want to know what SUP is all about? This experience is the most unique way to explore the Rocky Mountains and learn new skills.
Join us in the most beautiful classroom in the world to learn the art of Stand Up Paddleboarding. The lesson will start with a dry-land session and then takes you out on a tour of Barrier Lake, Alberta with your freshly learned skills. Barrier Lake is located west of Calgary in Kananaskis Country where you will see the breathtaking views from the lake while experiencing paddle boarding.
This SUP lesson is designed for households/cohorts.

 

 

Minimum age: 18 years.
Duration: 2 hours.
The cost of experience is a flat rate for a group of 1 – 4 participants; a 5th and 6th participant is an additional fee.
The maximum group size is 6 participants.
Season: June-September.
Tour schedule: daily 10:00 am to 12:00 pm*, times may be subject to change.
Tour runs rain or shine. Should the guides deem the conditions unsafe for paddling, Experience Provider reserves the right to reschedule to a later date.
Please dress appropriately for the weather.

What to bring:
– A swimsuit,
– A sun hat, sunglasses and sunscreen,
– Sandals or shoes that can get wet,
– A wind-breaking jacket and a light sweater if it’s a cooler day,
– A towel and change of clothing on shore/in your car.
