Welland Canal Segway Tour

On this Segway tour, you will learn about the rich history of the Welland Canal and its latest engineering advances. Join for a one- or two-hour experience while you will learn about this modern marvel and the vital role it plays in the region.

You will have a full training on how to operate a Segway before you set off on your adventure.

A one-hour tour starts from the Lock 3 Museum in St Catharines, just 15 minutes from Niagara Falls, and continues south towards and up the Niagara Escarpment.

On a two-hour tour you can expect to go all the way to Lock 7 of the canal. There you will see the viewing complex and the Murals of Thorold. This is a 9 km ( 5.5 miles) return trip. And you will have plenty of time to enjoy the experience.

Minimum age: 12 years.
Wine tasting: 18+.
Season: available year-round.
Tour runs daily between 10:00 am – 3:00 pm.
Tour duration: 1.25 hours, 50-minute Segway tour.
Minimum weight is 100 pounds (45 kg) Maximum weight is 250 pounds ( 113 kg).
Helmets are provided.
Wear flat shoes to help with controlling the Segway.
Please bring your own water.

All participant must sign a waver prior the tour.
