Horseback riding – Sulphur Mountain 3h

A half day ride that gives you a scenic introduction into the quiet backcountry of Banff National Park. You will ride along the base of Mount Rundle and enjoy a bird’s eye view of Banff and Canmore, before passing by the immaculate fairways of the Fairmont Banff Springs Golf Course. Continue onto Bow Falls and cross the tranquil Spray River before returning to the corrals.
The most unique feature of this trip is crossing the tranquil Spray River. On hotter days, your horse may even decide to cool itself off by splashing water onto its belly.

 

Duration of the tour is 3 hours.
Tour season: May-October.
Departure: daily at 9:30 am and 2:30 pm.
Minimum age: 8 years.
Children ages 15 years and under must have someone 18 years and older with them on the tour
Maximum weight: 250 pounds.
Wear closed toe shoes and long pants.
For safety purposes helmets are mandatory to be worn by all riders.

You are required to check-in at least 30 minutes prior to your ride’s scheduled departure time to fill out a waiver and get assigned your horse. The ride will depart as scheduled.
